The Blanket carpet is made out of old woolen blankets, cut in strokes, glued together with a backing. They are handmade, with blankets what available is at that moment. Therefore the patron and the colors are always different. Each blanket is unique. The carpet is designed in 2007/ 2008. It revers to brain structure , a flowing mass, a spot in the living space. In our design we examine the possibilities to use existing material at another way and to transform, so that products with a new meaning will arise.
Accidental Carpet is part of the collection of the Textiel Museum, Tilburg, Netherlands.
