Independent designer David Enon, a graduate from the Ecole National Supérieur de Création Industrielle in Paris (ENSCI/Les Ateliers), lives and works in Paris. He divides his time among commissioned projects, research work and teaching. An adept at ‘covers’ and other remixes, he is a strong believer in the virtues of post-production as a way of performing in the here and now. Cultural and historical references, the latest industrial standards or the most frugal production methods: they are all treated with equal enthusiasm. He is currently working on the production of furniture made of artificial reef, with the bottom of the sea serving as a novel type of factory.
